Corey S Ribotsky‘s Artwork
Corey S Ribotsky paints with vivid realism capturing the natural world with sharp observation. He has been attracted to the bucolic landscapes of the Midwest as well as wooded hills and river valleys of the North throughout his career.

The ability to portray animals in their natural habitat reveals his affinity with nature. In addition to birds, his adoration for them includes their natural demeanour and the desire for survival. He may capture time and place in his work by doing it en plein air, as he does with several of his pieces.

For the last twelve years, Corey has operated his own studio/gallery and supplied other galleries across the country. However, several of these have shut their doors, making establishing an online presence difficult.

Luckily, he is represented by two agencies that sell and promote his work internationally and to national chain stores, which helps cover his expenses. As a result, Corey's work is collected and admired all over the world.

The Colors and Techniques used in his artwork
Ribotsky uses a wide range of colours in his artwork. He first sketches his ideas on large canvases, which he then paints in large and small formats. His paintings often feature green, blue and yellow. These colours are prevalent in nature.

He also uses red in his work, which is a warm colour that can be seen in most landscapes. Ribotsky paints outdoors and from memory. He uses a variety of brushes, including a small paint roller, a synthetic bristle brush and a large sable brush. He often works in the studio, but he also paints en plein air.

Conclusion
Corey S Ribotsky’s artwork is notable for its light and airy feel. His use of subtle colours, as well as bold brushstrokes, contributes to this effect. Ribotsky is particularly fond of green, which is used in many of his paintings. It is prevalent in the grasses and vegetation that occur naturally in the Midwest.
