Das Abbild der ruhenden, sich in Kontemplation befindenden Musen,
von welchen eine sich der Liebesdichtung und die andere der Musik widmet, wirkt wie ein Zustand der passiven Aktivität oder auch der aktiven Passivität. Darum befinden sich die beiden Musen in kreativen Trancen und werden dabei von zwei maskulinen Geistern bewundert und protegiert.
Das Kunstwerk ist im Stil des symbolischen und spirituellen Realismus und des mythologisch-realistischen Idealismus gehalten.
Es vermittelt eindeutig die Botschaft, dass der ästhetische Aspekt in Bezug auf Schönheit, Proportion, Ebenmaß und Harmonie, für die Autorin eine zentrale und wichtigste Rolle in Erschaffung der Kunst einnimmt.
Erato war eine der Danaiden, von den neun Musen die Muse der Liebespoesie.
Euterpe war eine Muse der Musikkünste und des Flötenspiels.
Mit ihrem Flötenspiel begleitete sie lyrische Poesie.

Łatwo to zauważyć, że obie muzy są w twórczym transie i są podziwiane protegowane i wspieranechronione przez dwa męskie duchy.
Grafika utrzymana jest w stylu symbolicznego i duchowego realizmu oraz mitologiczno-realistycznego idealizmu .
Dzieło sztuki wyraźnie przekazuje przesłanie, że aspekt estetyczny w postaci piękna, proporcji, równowagi i harmonii, odgrywa dla autorki centralną i najważniejszą rolę w tworzeniu sztuki.
Erato była jedną z Danaidów i jedną z dziewięciu muz, muzą poezji miłosnej.
