Vannie Gama

Vannie Aurin Pavelski da Gama

Vannie Gama is an interdisciplinary visual artist and non-binary researcher born in São Paulo, 1997. Opened the atelier VYSlab in 2019. They is graduated with honors in Visual Arts from UNESP. Author of ''Le cultiver des images'' (2022) presented during the 5th FLIMA – International Literary Festival of Mantiqueira in 2022. Participated in the artistic residency in ''Syntropy states'' Relax and Elevate volumes, 2021-2023, England, and presented the happening ''59 minutes useless'' with Luca D'Alessandro at the Bauru International Festival of Performing Arts 2021. Member of LATESD - Laboratory in Technology, Society and Democracy on the master program of UNICAMP - Interdisciplinary in Human Sciences and Social Sciences Applied. They language includes expanded painting and digital works. Interest in the axis of art, ecology and technology, focused to environmental awareness. Won the prize ''Prêmio para trajetória cultural'' from the city Jaguariúna, São Paulo State, during pandemics, 2021/2022. In 2023 started the 10-years project ''animas'' (vysanimas) in NFT series (First act). Individual exhibitions were ''Afigurations of Time'' (2019) in Bauru, São Paulo, and ''Prologue for Organic Observaitons'' (2023) in São José dos Campos, São Paulo, and Santos, São Paulo.
