Prosecco Millesimato is part of a series of works pairing wine with contemporary art.
The action painting technique is used to express the feeling of bubbliness inspired by the sensation that this particular sparkling wine provokes in the palate.The cork is from a bottle of Prosecco by Cantina dei Principi di Porcia which is Millesimato indicating that it is obtained from grapes of a single harvest in this case called "millesimo" (thousandth). This concept is also expressed in the work by the use of multiple drops of color.
