This work is part of series of work pairing wine with contemporary art.
Titianus is inspired by the dark color of the wine which comes from the Refosco grape.
In the artwork there is also the presence of a miniature of a portrait created by Italian painter Titian in 1535 - 40 depicting the noble Antonio di Porcia of Friuli.
