Jacob Farkas uses materials that are easily accessible. The materials he chooses to work with are not too expensive or too difficult to work with. The majority of his work is done with acrylics and oils, with some watercolors thrown in. By letting the medium do its work, he avoids forcing it to do something it cannot. Additionally, he uses a variety of papers and metals. His preferred paper type is watercolor paper, but he also works with other types.
Inspired by a true story, Invincible recounts the last 48 hours in the life of Marc-Antoine Bernier, a 14-year-old boy on a desperate quest for freedom.
