Israel Tsvaygenbaum always loved flowers, but roses are his favorite. Artist remembers that as a child, he liked to observe how roses grew day by day and how they changed in form. When Israel Tsvaygenbaum decided to create a painting about his childhood town Derbent, he wanted to surround it with beautiful roses. These roses reflect artist love for that city. The painting “Roses” are about Derbent.
