Corey Ribotsky
It has been over 14 years since the artist Corey Ribotsky started painting with acrylics, oils and watercolors. Over the course of his life, he has always been fascinated by color and how subtle changes in value can be used to transform a flat surface into something that resembles a three-dimensional object that appears to be flat. In his work, he is continually drawn to the "language" of watercolor, the way the pigments flow over the paper, the way they can either explode with intensity or blend slowly with the wet to dry technique, which is the way the pigments flow over the paper. He is fascinated by this "language" of watercolor.
