Some arthropods have a cuticle external that move from a single time through a process that receives the name of “Ecdysis”. It first enters a period of rest before moving its outer layer in a State that is called "pupa", remained locked in a kind of protective capsule and that starts a metamorphosis that will lead them to the adult State. During this phase the larva develops legs and wings, and its body adopts form tripartite of head, thorax and abdomen. When this emerges the new cuticle it is soft, pale and with the passage of time harden and acquire their normal color.
