Maison de Bourbon, from the heart of American Jazz, New Orleans, on the street known for music is the famous old bar of the same name, Maison de Bourbon, otherwise known as The House of Bourbon.
The original drawing was completed in July of 2014, during an evening of music. Featuring two brass instrumentalist flanked by an upright bass and a keyboard player, music becomes shapes, shapes, become forms, and the whole composition shimmers as if dancing. A tip jar stands ready for your accolades.
An added bonus is the gold frame, hand-painted with Opaline on the outside edge. Flashing rainbow colors direct your attention to the canvas it protects.
