Oh Myung Hee is a Korean visual artist, and graduate from Sejong University. She is a former visiting professor at Tokyo University of the Arts and currently holds an honorary professorship from the College of Art & Design at Suwon University, South Korea.
Known for her three-dimensional works, videos, and multimedia Oh Myung Hee has exhibited extensively in the Far East and Western Europe; including a solo exhibition at London’s Saatchi Gallery. She was selected to participate in the Personal Structures exhibition by the European Cultural Centre during the 59th Venice Biennale.
Her solo exhibitions include: London’s Saatchi Gallery, Shinseido Gallery in Tokyo Aoyama, Kaze Gallery in Osaka, Gana Print Bakery in Seoul, Galerie BHAK(Bhak Young-Duk) in Seoul, Gallery Espace Miromesnil in Paris.
She has also participated in numerous art fairs including the 17th Line Art Fair, Galerie Futra, Belgium (1997), San Francisco International Art Exposition (2004), Chicago Art Fair(2008), Los Angeles Art Show (2008-2013), Art Miami(2016), New Caledonia Hotel Art Fair (2012), Sydney Art Fair (2007), NICAF Art Fair Tokyo (1997, 2001-2002), Osaka Art Fair(2005), Beijing Art Fair(2005), Shanghai Art Fair(2005), AHAF - Asia Top Gallery Hotel Artfair (2014), Taipei Dangdai Art fair (2019) and Korea International Art Fair (2013, 2015, 2018).
