Vision of St. John on Patmos is a series of frescoes on the interior of the dome of the Benedictine Church of San Giovanni Evangelista, in Parma, Italy. The interior of the cupola is painted with an outline of apostles, above them a halo of clouds. In the center of the space Christ is descending from the heavens above. Although this part of the fresco was hidden to the public, it was visible to the monk under the dome in the choir. The entire scene is a faithful rendering of the Book of Revelation by John.
