This coffin belonged to Nesmin, who was a priest for the god Min in Akhmim. The names of Nesmin's parents are given in the coffin's inscriptions; his father was a priest called Djedhor and Nemin's mother was a musician for Min called Tadiaset. The coffin came to the museum together with Nesmin's mummy.
